D. Stephenson Construction is providing CM@Risk Services for the new Fire Station 8 for the City of West Palm Beach.  This station is currently operational via a temporary facility located on-site and the City wishes to keep the temporary facility until the new station is completed. Station 8 will contain three (3) bays and will house living and working quarters for two (2) full crews and contain an exercise room, workshop, decontamination room and other typical facilities associated with fire stations. The floor area of this station is anticipated to be approximately 10,000 square feet. The station shall be designed for a Category 4 storm event(140 MPH with 3-second gusts wind speed).  This will be a LEED project.
