D. Stephenson Construction, Inc. is currently providing CM at Risk services for the new construction of the Historic Miramar Public Safety Complex. The scope of work includes demolition of the existing Civic Center building to clear site for the new project. The new project is designed as a partial two-story structure of approximately 24,000 SF in total building area to accommodate police functions, as well as, areas for use by the general community. Patrol-related spaces will include: property & evidence warehouse, property & evidence unit, crime scene lab, crime scene unit, investigative services, report writing area/file copy area, storage area, SWAT briefing room/armory storage room, evidence return area/interview room, vehicle processing bay rolling asset storage, dive team/gear storage room/boat storage, locker and shower rooms/breakroom, restrooms, forfeiture lot and bike compound. General use community spaces will include: public lobby, public restrooms
and community meeting rooms.
