D. Stephenson Construction  provided Construction Management at Risk Services for the renovations of the Broward County Mid Rise Offi ce Building. The exterior of the Broward County Mid Rise Building was severely damaged and lost many windows during Hurricane Wilma. D. Stephenson Construction provided construction services to replace the existing exterior windows with a new impact resistant glass curtain-wall system, bringing the building up to the current building code standards. Interior repairs were also made to replace damaged drywall and fi nishes. The D. Stephenson team coordinated the work with the County to ensure there was minimal interruption to the daily activities of the county staff. This building contains the most sensitive information stored by the courts and again our team completed our work while adhering to and enhancing all security procedures. Additional projects included the judge’s elevators, the law library, public defender’s offi ce and prosecutor’s offi ce space.
