D. Stephenson Construction provided Design-Build Services for the City of Lauderhill Police Station. The interior features include a fully-equipped gym area, adjacent locker rooms, as well as a small kitchen, offi  ce space, holding cells, and the latest IT technology. Additional scope included a vehicle maintenance bay for repairs, a command center, fi  tness center and evidence storage facilities. The Bahamian architectural style established has served as the catalyst for future government center buildings. The public safety facility was designed to homeland security and enforcement accreditation guidelines.
