D. Stephenson Construction provided CM@Risk Services for the new Nanofiltration addition to the existing water treatment plant located in the City of Dania Beach.  This is a new 6,000 square foot single story building designed to house the Nanofiltration Process Equipment, including  a new Control Room for the entire water treatment functions, Administration Offices and Locker Rooms. This project was funded in part by the Florida Department of Environmental Protection Facilities Authority by way of the State Revolving Fund and the American Recovery and Reinvestment Act.  This is a certified LEED Gold project. The very nature of this project was challenging because this work cannot interrupt the operations of the existing water treatment operations, yet old and new systems were combined to result in a complete and modernized facility to provide the highest quality end product (water) for the residents of the City of Dania Beach.
